Hyderabad, 17 May (H.S.): An Indian Army soldier, B Rama Swamy, posted at the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, has accused a village revenue officer's family of encroaching on his ancestral land in Chowdarpally, Siddipet district, via a viral social media video.
He claims the encroachers have harassed his family and removed their names from land records. Despite multiple complaints to authorities, including the Mandal Revenue Officer and Siddipet Collector, no action has been taken, allegedly due to the VRO's influence.
Rama Swamy appealed for public support to reach Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for swift government action. Former minister T Harish Rao has reached out to the Siddipet collector, urging action and stressing the need to support soldiers facing injustice at home.
