Lakhimpur, 28 April (HS): A horrific road accident took place on the state highway number 22 connecting Gogamukh-Dhakuwakhana in Assam. Police said on Monday that three bike riders killed on the spot after being hit by a cargo truck.

According to the information, all three youths were going on the same bike. The deceased have been identified as Saurabhjyoti Chamua, Swapnadeep Gogoi and Semi Sakia. After the accident, the local people took all three in injured condition to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

The police reached the spot and seized the truck that caused the accident and started investigating the case.
