as the chief guest at the program organized at the statue site of freedom
fighter and former Chief Minister Late Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna on the occasion
of his 107th birth anniversary, Justice Gautam Chaudhary said that Late
Bahuguna had participated in the freedom movement since 1942 and along with
that, till the end of his life, he considered national interest as his
religion. He did not compromise with his principles and if he did, he did so in
the national interest. On his birth anniversary, a function was organized by
Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Smriti Samiti at his statue site, in which the lamp was
lit by Late Bahuguna's son Shekhar Bahuguna, daughter-in-law Vinita Bahuguna,
son-in-law PC Joshi, granddaughter Uttara Bahuguna. The program was conducted
by District President Sant Prasad Pandey. Leaders of various political parties,
teachers from the education world and officials of the Chamber of Commerce paid
floral tribute to Bahuguna ji. Former MP Ramesh Dwivedi, who attended the
program, said that late Bahuguna was an ideal man in politics and the former MP
expressed his views about his principles. Those who paid floral tribute
included Sharad Upadhyay, Jaiswal Sabha President Padum Jaiswal, Principal
Rajiv Darbari, Principal Mani Shankar Dwivedi, Principal Arun Pratap Singh,
Sudha Tripathi and Shailaja Tripathi from Inner Wheel Club, Suresh Verma, Vijay
Mishra Advocate, Manu Kakkar Advocate, Vivekanand Sharma Advocate, Nayan
Kushwaha, Arun Pathak, Rakesh Srivastava, Umashankar Shukla, Padmadhar Dwivedi,
Anupam Krishna Dwivedi, Vimal Mehrotra, Sardar Nanak Singh, Brijesh Tiwari,
Lalu Mittal, Rakesh Sharma, Kamlesh Mishra, Sunil Das and Ram Das, Dharmaraj
Pandey, Manish Gupta and hundreds of others were present.
