Fast bowler Trent Boult was awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance, taking 4 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs.

In the match played at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad, Mumbai was given a target of 144 runs, which they achieved in the 16th over. Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 70 runs for Mumbai, hitting 8 fours and 3 sixes during his innings.
