PM Modi seeking Muslim upliftment via Waqf Act : UP Deputy CM

Lucknow,

02 April (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said

that Narendra Modi's government is trying to implement the Waqf Act. It wants

the upliftment of poor Muslims. The representatives of appeasement are not able

to digest this. The Indi alliance wants the poor Muslims to live a life of

poverty forever. But this will not happen now.

On

the issue of Waqf Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha, parties like Congress and SP

have made Muslims a mere vote bank by scaring them via fear mongering. They are

pretending to fight that you are my vote bank, which is a futile wrestling. The

country including majority of Muslims is welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi

with full faith in the bill. Parties like Congress and SP are unsuccessfully

trying to make an issue by doing a drama of showing fake sympathy not for the

welfare of Muslims but for the cream of power.

Keshav

Prasad Maurya wrote on his social media account X that SP - Samaptwadi Party! “Akhilesh

Yadav is busy in turning the sinking bicycle into an airplane, but the public

has now come to know that he only does the politics of nepotism, casteism and

crime. The conspiracy to promote mafias, rioters and corrupt people in the name

of fake PDA (Family Development Agency) will not last long. The people of UP

have punctured the cycle,” he posted on X.

“The

pledge of 'cleanliness' is possible only with public participation. Under the

leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Swachhata

Abhiyan has become a social movement. Like every year, this time too, Swachhata

Pakhwada is being celebrated from 1 to 15 April. Adopting this spirit of public

participation, I appeal to all the people of the state to make cleanliness

their personal pledge, make it a part of their daily routine and inspire others

as well. Only a 'clean India' will lay the foundation of a healthy, prosperous

and developed India,” he added.
