Bharatpur, 02 Apr (HS):- About ten shops were razed
in a fire that broke out in the Sewar Kasba Vegetable Market on Tuesday night. The
fire spread as three gas cylinders exploded due to heat.
Local people tried to control the fire, but had to
inform the Fire Brigade as the blaze went beyond their control. Fire tenders
from Bharatpur, Nadbai, and Civil Defence Department worked for hours to
control the fire. The cylinders kept in tea stalls and small eateries exploded, expanding the magnitude of the fire.
The cause of the fire and the losses incurred are
being investigated.
