North 24 Parganas, 2 April (H.S.): After the Indian Museum in Kolkata, the North 24 Parganas District Magistrate's Office has received a threatening email in which the administrative building has been threatened to be blown up with a bomb blast. As per information, the employees saw the message in the government email at around 11 am on Wednesday. The email clearly mentioned that the explosion would take place at 4:30 pm, due to which there was a stir in the office.
The police and administration took several steps by taking immediate action. The Barasat Superintendent of Police was informed, and searches were started with sniffer dogs as well as metal detectors. Strict restrictions have been imposed on entry into the administrative building, and security arrangements have been increased.
