West Bengal, in connection with human trafficking. Two children were found with

her, who has been identified as Rashmi Bannerjee. One of the two children is

being treated at Mumbai’s Sion Hospital, while the other one is referred to the

Child Welfare Committee in Kolkata.

According to

Police Inspector Anuradha Bhosale a senior resident of Wadala, had lodged a

complaint in August last year, about his grandson and granddaughter missing.

His son-in-law, Anil Ganesh Purvaiyya and two women from Chembur, Asha Pawar and

Ashma Sheikh, were arrested. During interrogation, they revealed that the

children were sold for Rs 1.80 lakh. The children, however, were not traced.

Based on the information collected, police tried to search a woman in Odisha, but could not
