Lucknow,
04 March (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, unleashed
a harsh assault on the Samajwadi Party on Tuesday, accusing it of using
religious emotion in India for political benefit. The chief minister's remarks were in reaction
to opposition leader Mata Prasad Pandey's accusation that he is communal. Adityanath quoted socialist leader Ram
Manohar Lohia in his speech to the Assembly, claiming that India's strength
stems from its admiration for individuals like as Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and
Adi Shankaracharya. He contended that
rejecting these ideas damages the national fabric.
The chief minister cited the Maha Kumbh
festival as an example of India's inclusive legacy, noting that it gathered
people from over 100 nations without prejudice, demonstrating India's
dedication to unity and heritage on a global scale.
