His funeral will be held at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Juhu at 4 pm, with family members like Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Rani Mukerji, and Tanuja expected to attend. Additionally, friends of Ayan Mukerji, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone, are also likely to be present.

Deb Mukherjee was born in Kanpur in 1941 to a notable film family. His connections included famed relatives like Ashok Kumar and Kishore Kumar.
