Chandigarh, March 14 (H.S.): In Moga district, the president of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction was shot dead by three youths on motorcycles last night, with two others injured. Police attribute the shooting to an ongoing rivalry.

Eyewitness Davinder Singh, the injured salon owner, revealed that the assailants pretended to be customers before attacking him in the salon. A child named Thomas narrowly escaped being hit when he inadvertently stepped into the line of fire.

Following this, the assailants pursued and fatally shot Mangat Rai Manga on Stadium Road. DSP City Ravinder Singh confirmed the attack stemmed from recent disputes between rival groups. A case has been registered, and police are actively searching for the suspects.
