Shimla, March 14 (H.S.): The festival of colors, Holi, was celebrated with grandeur in Himachal Pradesh on Friday, reflecting its vibrant spirit across the state. Streets, neighborhoods, and squares were alive with people applying colors and dancing to traditional mountain songs and Nati.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla celebrated Holi at the Raj Bhavan, while Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu joined the festivities at his residence, “Oak Over.” Leader of the Opposition, Jairam Thakur, celebrated with supporters and visited the Raj Bhavan to greet the governor, where he, Shukla, and other leaders performed Nati together. Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh also visited Sukhu to partake in the joyous celebration.

The excitement of Holi was palpable in every district, and leaders extended Holi wishes, urging residents to maintain harmony during the festivities.
