New Delhi, 8 February (HS); Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the party headquarters on Saturday that there is an atmosphere of excitement and relief in the capital due to today's victory in Delhi. The excitement is of victory and relief is of freedom from 'AAP-Da' (Aam Aadmi Party).

In the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has got 48 seats in the 70-member assembly. This is 13 seats more than the majority figure. On the occasion of this victory, the Prime Minister, who reached the party headquarters, congratulated the party workers for the victory and thanked the people of Delhi for showing faith in BJP. He said that Delhi is now free from the 10 years of misrule of Aam Aadmi Party.

The mandate of Delhi shows that today development, vision and trust have won in Delhi. At the same time, pomposity, anarchy, arrogance and 'AAP-Da' that had engulfed Delhi, have lost. The BJP leader said that this is the first time that all the states of Delhi-NCR have BJP governments. In the coming time, work will be done on 'mobility' and 'infra' and the youth of the region will get new opportunities.

He said that the politics of dharna-protests, confrontation and administrative uncertainty in Delhi has caused a lot of harm to the people of Delhi. Today, you all Delhiites have removed a big obstacle in front of the development of Delhi.

At the same time, he targeted the Aam Aadmi Party for corruption and said that the CAG report will be presented in the first assembly session itself. Every thread of corruption will be investigated and whoever has looted will have to return.

The BJP said that the whole country knows that where there is a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, there is good governance, development, trust. Wherever the NDA has got the mandate in the country, we have taken that state to new heights of development.
