No darshan at Puri Jagannath Temple for five hours today due to banakalagi ritual


Bhubaneswar, 5 February (H.S.): The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced that there will be no darshan at the Jagannath Temple in Puri for five hours today due to the Banakalagi ritual of the deities.

The Banakalagi Niti of the deities will take place today, on the 8th day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Magha. As a result, general darshan will be suspended from 5 pm to 10 pm following the second Bhogamandap Bhoga at the temple, stated the SJTA.
