Guwahati, 27 February (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met Bhutan's Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Uten Phuntsho, CM Dr. Sarma informed on Thursday through social media.

During this, many important issues were discussed between the two leaders. The talks mainly discussed strengthening cooperation between Assam and Bhutan for further development in the field of agriculture, trade, tourism, education and energy, CM said.

It is noteworthy that the minister of the Bhutan government had reached Guwahati to participate in Advantage Assam 2.0 organized under two-day programs in Guwahati.
