Guwahati, 25 February (HS): Guwahati's Dispur Police has arrested three peddlers involved in drug smuggling case. Which also includes two women peddlers.

Police said on Tuesday that on the basis of secret information, the three drug peddlers were arrested during the operation conducted in Dakshin village area of Khanqah Road of the police station area. Which includes two women peddlers.

The arrested peddlers have been identified as Saddam Ali, Mushful Begum and Salma Sultan.

14.67 grams of heroin stuffed in 11 small plastic CCs, an Alto car (AS-01SC-3931), an N-16 bike without number plate, two mobile phones, besides ₹11,000 cash have been recovered from the arrested accused. Police have registered an FIR under the NDPS section in this case and are intensively interrogating the three arrested peddlers.
