Nagar, 23 Feb (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Mahakumbh Nagar on

Sunday and met the saints. He said that so far more than half of the world's

Sanatan Dharma followers have taken bath in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, which shows

the unique faith and power of Sanatan culture. The Chief Minister first reached

Satua Baba Peetha of Vishnuswami sect, where he met Mahamandaleshwar Santoshacharya

Ji Maharaj 'Satua Baba'. After this, he reached the camp of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti

Peetha and received blessings from Shankaracharya Sri Shankar Vijayendra

Saraswati ji. During this, he offered floral tribute to the statue of former

Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Peetha and performed Aarti. At the

same time, Shankaracharya Sri Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati praised the Chief

Minister for the arrangements of Mahakumbh and also praised the bathing of more

than 60 crore Sanatanis in Mahakumbh.

Yogi praised the contribution of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha and said that the

tradition of this revered Peetha has played an important role in the public

awakening and growth of Sanatan Dharma. He said that whenever Sanatan Dharma

faced any crisis, Kanchi Peetha came forward and resolved it. Be it the Shri

Ram Janmabhoomi movement or the Nepal crisis, this Peetha has always made

efforts to protect the religion.

said that so far 62 crore devotees have taken bath in the Triveni of Sangam and

this number will increase further in the coming days. He said that there is no

such faith, religion or sect in the whole world where such a large number of

people gather at a fixed time to express their faith. Maha Kumbh is a symbol of

the divinity and vastness of Sanatan Dharma.

is determined to give grandeur to Maha Kumbh: CM Yogi assured that his

government is committed to providing grandeur to every event related to Sanatan

Dharma and Maha Kumbh. He said that we will work with full devotion and

dedication for any event related to Sanatan Dharma, so that this event can

touch new heights of success.

Shankaracharya

praised the Maha Kumbh: Shankaracharya Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati ji praised

the arrangements of Maha Kumbh and said that this event is a wonderful example

of the participation of the government and the public. He said that Sanatan culture

is the ideal culture of the world and Maha Kumbh is a living proof of this.

Shankaracharya also praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for re-establishing

the ancient name of Prayagraj. He said that every Kumbh gives direction to the

nation. Whether it is the campaign to build Shri Ram temple or the government

giving strength to Sanatan Dharma in the country, Kumbh shows the path to the

nation. Shankaracharya described Maha Kumbh as the Kumbh of unity and called it

Advaita Kumbh. On this occasion a large number of saints were present including

Sri Shankarpur Peethadheeswar Jagadguru Srikrishnanand Tirtha and

Mahamandaleshwar Santoshacharya Ji Maharaj 'Satua Baba'.
