Mumbai, 23 February (HS): The budget session of the state government in Maharashtra will start from March 3 in Mumbai Vidhan Bhavan and will continue till March 26. During this, the business of the session will continue on March 8, a public holiday, and the state budget will be presented in both the houses of the legislature on March 10.

This decision has been taken by the Business Advisory Committee in Vidhan Bhavan on Sunday. Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar etc. were present in the meeting held on Sunday. In this meeting, it has been decided unanimously to keep the business of the session closed on Holi on March 13. Speaker Rahul Narvekar said that his effort will be to get the work done peacefully in the assembly.
