Jammu, 22 February (H.S.): Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today dedicated an ambulance to the Swarg Ashram Shastri Nagar Cremation Ground Committee.

The MP was accompanied by MLA Jammu South (RS Pura) Dr Narinder Singh, MLA Bahu Vikram Randhawa and BJP Mandal presidents Sohan Singh, Fahul Kumar and other senior party leaders including Vinay Gupta and Narinder Koki.

Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore said that this was long-standing demand of the local people, who had requested a facility to transport the deceased to the cremation ground and provide transportation for those attending the last rites. “The community’s needs were carefully considered, and this ambulance which costs Rs 17 lakh (approximately) was provided to them under MPLAD funds,” he added.

He said that BJP led Government at Centre under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to the welfare of the community, ensuring that essential services are made accessible to every citizen, with a focus on public convenience and well-being.

Balvinder Singh (Chairman, managing and development committee, Swarg Ashram Cremation Ground, Shastri Nagar) along with his members was present on the occasion.
