NEW DELHI, 20 February (H.S.) : Before the commencement of
the session, BJP MLAs took part in a protest in front of the Assembly with
placards written against the state government.
BJP MLAs continued to
protest outside the assembly on Thursday On this day, the BJP MLAs protested
outside the Legislative Assembly under the leadership of Shankar Ghosh,
accusing the state government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of doing
politics in the name of religion. On Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Suvendu
Adhikari and other BJP MLAs tore papers and threw them at the Speaker's chair
in the Assembly Chamber. The Speaker suspended several BJP MLAs including Suvendu
on this charge. After that, the BJP MLAs started protesting outside the
assembly even on the day of the Chief Minister's speech in the Assembly on
Tuesday, several BJP MLAs including Suvendu Adhikari protested outside. Today,
before the assembly session started, BJP MLAs joined the protest demonstration
in front of the assembly. They also had placards written slogan against the
state government and CM.
