Delhi, 12 February (H.S.): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1939 with its first office in Delhi. From a small single-storey building in Jhandewalan, the organization now boasts a modern and opulent new office in the same area. The new Keshav Kunj building, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore, is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including auditoriums and a polyclinic. This impressive development is a result of the contributions from over 75,000 people, showcasing the unwavering support and growth of the RSS.

The organization's journey in Delhi has seen significant changes, with the first office being established in 1939, followed by the construction of a single-storey building in 1962 (the old Keshav Kunj), and then an additional floor being added in the 80s. In 2016, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ji laid the foundation stone for the new building, which is now home to the Delhi chapter of RSS.

The organization shifted to the Udasin Ashram on rent from 2018 to 2024 before moving into their new headquarters.

This remarkable progress and expansion of the RSS reflect its strong presence and influence in Delhi and beyond.
