Bhubaneswar, 6 December (H.S.) : Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has sharply criticised the Odisha BJP government for the recurring cancellation of recruitment examinations, stating that it is shattering the dreams of lakhs of young aspirants across the state.
Reacting to the cancellation of the ANM examination, Patnaik said the government has once again pushed thousands of candidates into darkness and uncertainty. “How many more dreams will be broken? How long will the future of our children be played with?” he questioned.
Patnaik alleged that the frequent cancellation and postponement of recruitment exams reflects the government’s “incompetence and administrative failure.” He pointed out that nearly 18 recruitment examinations have been cancelled in the last 18 months, raising serious concerns over transparency and accountability.
“What message does the government want to convey? Should the hopes and aspirations of the youth of Odisha continue to be crushed like this?” he asked.
Urging the government to act responsibly, the Leader of Opposition demanded that all examinations be conducted regularly, fairly, and with complete transparency to safeguard the future of the state’s youth.
