Jammu, 6 December (H.S.): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha clarified that several social media posts circulating about the JKPSC examination were misleading, stating that the facts had been misrepresented.
In a post on X, he confirmed that the file received by Lok Bhavan on December 2, 2025, was strictly related to age relaxation and not to the conduct of the examination.
He said the file was returned the same day with a query asking whether it was logistically possible to hold the exam on December 7 after making changes to eligibility criteria at such a late stage.
The LG said that despite four days passing since the query was raised, Lok Bhavan did not receive any response from the concerned side.
Expressing sympathy with the young aspirants, he reiterated that the advertisement for the examination was issued by the J&K Public Service Commission on August 22, 2025, and the exam date—December 7—was formally notified on November 6, 2025.
