27 Dec (HS): Police Manthan-2025, a conference of senior police officers, is

underway at the police headquarters in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh,

on Saturday. The two-day event, inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,

will discuss various law and order challenges, including cybercrime, human

trafficking, and social media issues.

Upon

the arrival of the Chief Minister, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv

Krishna and ADG PAC Ram Krishna Swarnkar gave him a warm welcome by presenting

him a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion, he was given a traditional guard of

honour. In the beat policing session of the Senior Police Officers Conference,

the Chief Minister launched the 'Yaksha App'. The launch of the 'Yaksha App' –

a digital beat-book, will make the daily work of beat personnel simpler,

systematic and more effective. On this occasion, a presentation was made on

work-problems and practical solutions under the leadership of Nodal Officer ADG

Crime S.K. Bhagat.

Regarding

this program, the Director General of Police had said on Friday that Police

Manthan is not just a formal conference, but it is a well-thought-out and

goal-oriented initiative prepared keeping in mind the future requirements, so

that law and order can be further strengthened in Uttar Pradesh.

Police

Manthan-2025 will feature presentations by 11 senior nodal IPS officers and 45

other police officers across 11 thematic sessions, with the aim of making the

Uttar Pradesh Police more effective, modern, professional, accountable, and

trust-building. Best practices and innovations will also be discussed to ensure

continuous improvement in policing.
