Jalgaon, 26 Dec (HS): A gang luring people for investments for good

and early returns was exposed by Jalgaon’s Muktainagar Police. Three people

were arrested by the police for misleading people through a Facebook portal ‘Saawariya

Set’ and posing videos on Instagram.

Police arrested Shivkumar Shami Bhonsale, Devkumar

Shivraj Bhonsale and Sujita alias Sujata Shivkumar Bhonsale, residents of

Lalgota in Muktainagar Tehsil of Jalgaon district. The three were using fake

currency notes worth Rs 10 lakh against payment of Rs 1 lakh to the investors.

Police seized 1065 counterfeit currency notes of Rs

500 denominations and five Android Mobile phones. The notes has Children Bank

of India printed on them. Police also seized other digital evidence including

videos posted on social accounts.
