18 Dec (HS): Due to dense fog on Thursday morning in the district, a car
collided with a truck at milestone 254 of Purvanchal Expressway. Three people including
a kid died in the accident, while four people were injured. The condition of
one of the injured is said to be critical. According to the information
received, seven people, residents of village Alipur, Thana Sardhana of Meerut
district, were going to Varanasi in an Omni car. Suddenly, a truck hit the car
from behind near milestone 254 in Mubarakpur police station area. The collision
was so severe that the car was completely damaged.
The
deceased in the accident include Vishesh 40 years, son Omveer, Prince 10 years,
son Vishesh and an unidentified person. Meanwhile, Dali 32 years, wife Vishesh,
their daughter Anshika, 12 year old son Kartik and the car driver Satya were
injured. On receiving the information, Mubarakpur police station in-charge
Shashimauli Pandey along with UPDA and PRV team reached the spot. Relief and
rescue work was started amidst heavy fog and all the injured were admitted to
the district hospital. Among the injured, Kartik's condition is said to be
critical.Due to fog on Thursday morning, a truck collided with a car.
