Hooghly, 17 December (H.S.): Early Wednesday morning, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted a raid in Rishra. The incident caused a stir in Ward No. 22 of Rishra Municipality.

ED officials searched a house named 'Shyam Pan Kunj' at 17, Lakshmi Palli Third Lane. As per information, a hawala trader named Kailash Kumar Verma lives there.

According to sources, ED officials are investigating whether any illegal transactions are taking place behind the scenes. The officials are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
