Guwahati, 16 December (HS): The first hearing in the death case of Zubin Garg will be held on Tuesday at the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Kamrup (Metropolitan). All seven accused in the case will not be physically produced before the court and will instead attend the proceedings virtually.

The court directed virtual hearings for the accused following a meeting with the police. This will be the first court hearing in the alleged murder case of Zubin Garg after the filing of the charge sheet.

According to investigators, the charge sheet running into 12,270 pages contains several startling revelations. The prosecution claims that Zubin Garg was killed as part of a pre-planned conspiracy. It has been alleged that he remained unconscious on the seashore for about 75 minutes before being taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

Notably, the charge sheet related to the mysterious death of the popular artist was submitted before the court on December 12. Developments during today’s hearing are expected to be closely watched in the coming hours.
