Lucknow,

15 Dec (HS): Yogi Adityanath expressed his pleasure on X over Diwali's

inclusion on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, calling it a wonderful

event for India. UNESCO designation

demonstrates India's increasing worldwide significance as well as a cultural

revival led by the Uttar Pradesh government.

His post on X discusses how cultural activities such as Diwali, Kumbh

Mela and ancient writings, as well as established ones like Yoga, are being

honored throughout the world, strengthening a narrative of India's rich legacy.

He

stated in a post on X, “My respected citizens of the state, the world's most

divine and supernatural festival, Diwali, has been included in UNESCO's list of

humanity's intangible cultural heritage. This is a moment of respect for

Sanatanis across the world and a moment of pride for the land of Uttar Pradesh.

This series of cultural renaissance over the past nine years is not limited to

the festival of lights alone... The grand celebration of the Maha Kumbh and the

easy and safe form of the Kanwar Yatra are journeys from resolution to

accomplishment. Now the occasion of the Magh Mela has arrived in Prayagraj,

where the confluence of faith, equality, and folk culture is preparing to

welcome the devotees grandly. I appeal to the people of the state to

participate in this series of cultural renaissance.”
