The Prime Minister will also chair the prestigious Global Maritime CEO Forum at the NESCO Exhibition Centre.
The high-profile engagement, scheduled for approximately 4:00 PM, underscores India's ambitious agenda to establish itself as a dominant force in the global maritime sector. The Global Maritime CEO Forum, the flagship event of the week, will convene chief executives from leading maritime companies, major investors, and international policymakers.
The forum is designed to foster critical dialogue on the future of the maritime ecosystem, focusing on sustainable growth, the development of resilient supply chains, green shipping initiatives, and strategies for an inclusive blue economy.The Prime Minister's participation is a clear reflection of his government's commitment to the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047. This comprehensive, long-term blueprint aims to cement India's position among the world's leading maritime powers through four strategic pillars: port-led development, advancements in shipping and shipbuilding, the creation of seamless logistics, and robust maritime skill-building.
India Maritime Week 2025, held from October 27th to 31st under the theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision,” serves as the premier global platform to translate this vision into tangible action. The event has attracted immense international interest, with participation from over 85 countries, more than 100,000 delegates, and over 350 distinguished international speakers.
