29 Oct (HS): On Wednesday, authorities reported that a 24-year-old man from
Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar area allegedly committed suicide in Saudi Arabia
while on a video conversation with his newly wedded wife in India. According to
a police official, Aas Mohammad Ansari allegedly hung himself from the ceiling
of his Riyadh home on October 26 after a violent disagreement with his wife
Sania (21) over video chat.
After the event, his wife notified relatives in
Saudi Arabia, who raced to his home and discovered him dead, according to his
family. Amjad Ali, a relative, stated that attempts are being made to transfer
the body back to Muzaffarnagar for burial.
On Wednesday,
family members confirmed that the duo married on April 7 of this year in Bhopa
