
Nanded, 28 Oct (HS): Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief
Minister Ajit Pawar reviewed the condition of the irrigation projects in Nanded
district and instructed the authorities concerned to ensure completion of the
pending projects immediately and make available water for irrigation in time
for the farmers in the district.
Pawar issued instructions to complete the work on
the Lower Manar and Martala Canal Lining under the Vishnupuri project. He instructed
the authorities to make available funds for the Dhond project under the
Jaikwadi Phase-2 Project, and ensure adequate water available to Loha region in
Ahmedpur under Ahmedpur Lift Irrigation Project.
A discussion on various other projects was also held
and Pawar issued instructions tohelp the farmers to raise their economic status.
Adequate water is available in the region following heavy rains during the
monsoon season.
