New Delhi, 28 October (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation on Tuesday, marking the conclusion of the four-day Chhath Mahaparv. The festival, a significant Hindu observance dedicated to the Sun God, concluded with the final morning offering of 'arghya' to the rising sun.

In a statement, the Prime Minister acknowledged the culmination of the grand festival, emphasizing the spiritual beauty of the rituals. The divine splendour of India’s glorious Chhath Puja tradition was witnessed, he remarked, celebrating the dedication of the devotees.

Reflecting on the event's conclusion, Prime Minister Modi shared a message on the social media platform X. He wrote, The auspicious conclusion of the great festival of Chhath happened today with the morning offering to the Sun God. Heartfelt greetings to all the fasting devotees, believers, and all family members who became a part of this sacred festival.

He concluded his message with a prayer for the well-being of all citizens, expressing his hope that the blessings of the goddess Chhathi Maiya would keep everyone’s lives filled with light and happiness.
