Mumbai, 28 Oct (HS): The Maharashtra Cabinet cleared

the proposal of preparing a Vision Document for Developed Maharashtra – 2047,

and formation of a Managing Committee. Suggestions from the people will be

invited and will be analysed using Artificial Intelligence technology. One

hundred initiatives under 16 different concepts will be implemented at the

state and districts levels. The programme will be progressive, continuous, inclusive

and for proper governance

Maharashtra Cabinet took seven important decisions

during its meeting on Tuesday. Solapur, Tuljapur, Osmanabad, Dhule and Washim

will derive the most benefits from the decisions.

Additional funds under the revised estimate for Solapur-Tuljapur-Osmanabad

broad gauge railway line was sanctioned. Under General Administration

Department expansion of Protocol Sub-Division was approved. Three new offices for

FDI, Outreach and Issues related to passengers with staff to be recruited were

approved.

The aspirants to contest the coming local body

elections under the reserved categories have been granted a period of six

months to complete the caste verification and submit them. A direction to this

effect will be issued soon.

The

proposal to start a District and Sessions Court and Senior Level Civil Court in

Shirpur in Dhule District was accepted. An office for the Government Pleader

will also be developed. The Cabinet approved the estimate and staff for the

court.

Suvidha

Foundation has been given 29.85 hectare of land in Washim’s Risod on a lease

for 30 years with a nominal rent of Re 1.
