11 railway employees from Jhansi, Agra and Prayagraj divisions of NCR in the

august presence of Principal Chief Safety Officer, J.C.S. Bora and other

Principal Heads of Department of North Central Railway for their excellent work

towards safety.

the Employee of the Month Award for the month of September 2025.

On

25.08.2025, while a train number LAR/SPL was being prepared at Karari station,

he observed that flames were emanating from the 10th wagon of train number

STPB, which was passing through the main line of the third line of Karari station.

He immediately took action, showing a danger signal to the train manager of

train number STPB and informing the Karari station master about the incident

via walkie-talkie. The train manager on duty applied the brakes to stop the

train and extinguished the fire using a fire extinguisher. The C&W staff

were instructed to detach the affected wagon from the load. Thus, their

vigilance and alertness prevented a potential train accident.
