Air India Bus Catches Fire at Delhi Airport


Delhi, 28 October (H.S.): A fire broke out in an Air India bus parked near Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in Delhi on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI) Vichitra Veer, the bus was not carrying any passengers or luggage at the time of the incident.

The fire was reported around 1 p.m. to the IGI Airport Police Station, following which fire tenders, local police, and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel swiftly reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.

No injuries or casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.
