Moradabad, 25
Oct (HS): UP madarsa staffer makes obscene remarks, demands virginity test on
youngster, is arrested and sent to jail.
According to police, the charges were proven genuine, and one of the
accused, Shahjahan, has been imprisoned while the others are at large. The madarsa management refuted the
allegations, calling them unfounded. A madarsa employee was detained in Uttar
Pradesh's Moradabad after reportedly making lewd remarks and requesting a
'virginity test' from a 13-year-old level 8 pupil before advancing her to the
next level. The girl, whose father, Mohammad Yusuf, is from Chandigarh but now
lives in Moradabad, apparently did not attend the madarsa for an extended
period of time without alerting the management. When her father attempted to
re-enroll in the school, administrators allegedly denied and ordered the
contentious medical exam.
Yusuf accused
the Jamia Ehsanul Banat Girls Madarsa administration of slandering his
daughter's character, making false and unjustified accusations, and impeding
her study. Even after paying an unlawful
cost of Rs 500, no transfer certificate was produced, nor was the amount
repaid. My daughter is sobbing and
saying that if she does not get justice, she would commit suicide, he stated. The police received copies of documentation
provided by the madarsa that mentioned a medical exam. SP
City Kumar Ranvijay Singh stated
that a complaint had been filed against madarsa admission in-charge Shahjahan,
principal Rahnuma, and other personnel on severe accusations. An inquiry revealed that the claims were
genuine. Shahjahan has been detained and
jailed, and police are looking for more suspects, he added.
Rajesh Kumar,
Circle Officer (Highway), stated that police are investigating the case after
filing a FIR against the institution.
Based on the investigation's results, appropriate portions of the
legislation will be introduced. The
institute serves as both a madarsa and an intercollegiate institution, and it
is associated with the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board and the Basic
Shiksha Department.
Meanwhile, Mohammad
Salman, a madarsa instructor, denied the claims as unfounded and malicious,
claiming that no such document had ever been required of any pupil. It is disgraceful that such false accusations
are being leveled at an institution where hundreds of girls learn with dignity.
