(HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived today at the Noida
International Airport being built in Jewar. The Chief Minister reviewed the
ongoing construction work there. He issued strict instructions to officials
associated with the Jewar Airport, urging them to complete the unfinished work
as soon as possible. Following the Chief Minister's arrival, there is talk that
flights will begin from Jewar Airport in the last week of November or in
December. Present during the meeting were Yamuna Development Authority Chief
Executive Officer RK Singh, officials from Noida International Airport Limited
(NIAL), district administration officials, police officers, Jewar MLA Dhirendra
Singh, Gautam Buddha Nagar district in-charge minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh,
along with a large number of officials and leaders.
A heavy
police presence was deployed for the Chief Minister's arrival. The Chief
Minister arrived at Jewar Airport by helicopter from Hindon Airport around 12
noon. He held meetings with officials there, after which he departed for Delhi.
The Chief Minister will also be present with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh at
the inauguration of a hospital in Ghaziabad tomorrow by President Draupadi
Murmu.
