Guwahati, 18 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasions of Kati Bihu and Dhantrayodashi.
In his message on Kati Bihu, the Chief Minister said that the festival, deeply rooted in agrarian traditions, symbolizes the connection between faith, culture and the rhythm of rural life. He prayed that the sacred lamps lit under the Tulsi plant and in the fields bring light and prosperity to every household.
Extending his wishes on Dhantrayodashi, Dr. Sarma prayed for good health, prosperity, and happiness for all. He hoped that the divine occasion would illuminate every home with peace and a bright future.
