Bhagwant Mann, who turned 52 today, has had a remarkable career trajectory, transitioning from a celebrated comedian and satirist to a prominent political figure. Before entering public service, he was widely recognized for his sharp wit and commentary on social and political issues through his performances. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and successfully contested parliamentary elections, serving as a Member of Parliament from the Sangrur constituency.

In March 2022, he assumed office as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab following a landmark victory for his party in the state assembly elections.
