Darjeeling, 16 October (H.S.): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee offered prayers at the Mahakal Temple in Darjeeling on Thursday. During the visit, the Chief Minister spoke to the priests and devotees. Minister Arup Biswas and others were present with her.
Notably, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is on her second visit to North Bengal and the hills. Here, she held an administrative meeting on Wednesday regarding Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts. During this, she honoured people who helped people during the disaster.
According to administrative sources, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has left for Siliguri after offering prayers. She may return to Kolkata today.
