Nagpur, 15 Oct (HS): The handloom expo 'Hathkargha 2025', organised by the Maharashtra State Handloom Corporation in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is receiving an overwhelming response.
The exhibition organises in the backdrop of Diwali festival in Nagpur has participation of weavers from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh, besides Maharashtra.
A wide range of handloom fabrics,
sarees, dress materials and home goods in traditional as well as modern designs
are available to the customers here. The main objective of this handloom
exhibition is to provide a market for handloom products, bring the artwork of
rural weavers directly to the consumers and provide information about new
designs to the consumers and weavers.
