Purulia, 5 January (H.S.)

The half naked dead body of a woman was found floating in the Kansai river near Manbazar town of Purulia district on Sunday. On information, thepolice from Puncha and Manbazar police station reached the spot. The body was taken out of the river and sent to Purulia Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Till the time of filing the news, the body could not be identified. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
