Ranchi, 4 January (H.S.): Police has achieved a big success in the robbery and firing case of 13 lakhs in Pandra of the city. On the instructions of SSP Chandan Sinha, the SIT team formed under the leadership of Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy has arrested four accused including a woman from Ranchi and Ramgarh. Also, the police is raiding possible hideouts in search of two other accused involved in the incident.

It is worth mentioning that on December 30, criminals had looted 13 lakhs from Ashirwad Atta cashier Sumit Gupta in broad daylight near ICICI Bank located near OTC ground and fled. First the criminals attacked him with the intention of looting money. Seeing this, Sumit Kumar, who was sitting next to him, confronted the miscreants.

The criminals shot him for fear of getting caught. After this, the police released the photo of the criminals involved in the incident and also announced a reward of 20 thousand rupees on them. IG and DIG along with other officers had inspected the spot and instructed the concerned officers.
