Delhi, 24 January (H.S.): Delhi's weather continues to cause delays and inconvenience for air travellers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday. The city experienced a thin layer of fog, which is expected to bring a slight increase in temperature. However, the foggy conditions are expected to persist for the next 3-4 days, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

This has resulted in train and flight delays, causing challenges for those travelling during this winter season. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, but it is expected to drop further in the coming days.

The IMD has also predicted a drop in temperature for next 2-3 days, which could make for a chilly Republic Day celebration on January 26. Visuals from various parts of the city showed poor visibility due to the fog, and many people seeking shelter at camps set up by the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board.
