-Starting a new chapter of digital training and operational excellence

Guwahati, 23 January (HS): Beginning a new chapter of digital training and operational excellence, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has officially launched an educational mobile application called Gyanvapi App. The app was launched recently in the presence of NFR General Manager Chetan Kumar Srivastava and senior railway officials from headquarters and divisions. Gyanvapi App is an all-in-one educational platform, specially designed for railway professionals. It provides a wealth of resources to empower users with information, enhance their professional development and ensure that they stay abreast of operational guidelines and developments.

NFR CPRO Kapinjal Kishore Sharma informed that the General Manager while launching the said app appreciated the efforts and innovation devoted towards its development. He emphasised the potential of the App in transforming operational knowledge-sharing and strengthening professional capabilities in NFR. The General Manager also directed to ensure widespread implementation of the App across all Divisions. This gesture underlines the leadership’s support and confidence in this pioneering initiative.

It is notable that the Gyanvapi App has been developed by Senior Assistant Loco Pilot Nitish Sharma in coordination with Sunil Kumar, Divisional Mechanical Engineer (Power), Tinsukia.

The Gyanvapi App is a significant step towards digitising and streamlining access to educational resources and operational guidelines for railway professionals. With its user-friendly interface and content, this App will prove to be an indispensable tool for professionals in NFR.

However, the Railway Minister emphasises the importance of continuous learning and the need for comprehensive training for railway employees in maintaining the high standards of Railways. In this context, the launch of the Gyanvapi App will certainly set a new standard for professional training in Indian Railways.
