Bellary, 17th January: Today's children are the builders of a modern and developed India. Therefore, special attention must be paid to their education, welfare, and the development of moral qualities in them, emphasized Thaawarchand Gehlot, the Governor of Karnataka.

Thaawarchand Gehlot was addressing a gathering at the inauguration ceremony of new institutions under the SB Group of Institutions in Ballari District.

The Governor inaugurated Brunda National Public School (CBSE), Brunda PU College, Brunda Degree College, and the Skanda Institute of Nursing, and graced the Ankuram-2025 Program.

In his address, the Governor underscored the transformative power of education, stating, Education plays a vital role in the success of life. It is beneficial in every field and enables personal and societal development. Education gives us the ability to express ideas, and it is a lifelong asset that can neither be stolen nor wasted.

Quoting Swami Vivekananda, the Governor reminded the audience, We need an education that builds character, fosters mental growth, develops intelligence, and empowers individuals to stand on their own feet. As Swami Vivekananda said, 'Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is achieved.' I urge the young generation to follow his guidance and actively contribute to the development of the nation.

Addressing the students, Thaawarchand Gehlot said, Every corner, every classroom, and every activity here is dedicated to your growth. Begin each day with new learnings, and never fear failure, as it strengthens you.

The Governor expressed confidence in the vision of the SB Group of Institutions, commending their efforts to integrate education with skills and moral values. He extended his best wishes to the institutions for their journey in shaping a better India.

The ceremony saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and prominent personalities, making it a memorable occasion. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including MLA Janardhana Reddy and former MLA S.T. Somashekar Reddy.
