Bhubaneswar, 15 January (H.S.): Odisha is set to experience a cold wave starting January 20, with night temperatures expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The regional IMD centre has forecast that most areas in the state will see temperatures ranging from 13 to 15 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, dense fog is likely to envelop several districts, including Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati, on Wednesday and Thursday.
The IMD has indicated that these districts will experience particularly dense fog on Thursday.
