New Delhi, 10 January (H.S.): Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has started the admission process for the International Dual Degree Program with AGH University of Krakow, Poland. The last date for submitting online applications for this program is January 20.

The university said in a statement on Friday that this dual degree Master of Science program (Digital Production for Sustainable Manufacturing) is being offered for the academic year 2025-2026. The special thing about this program is that students will have to pay only the tuition fees of GGSIPU, without any additional European tuition fees.

In this four-semester program, students will have to complete the first two semesters at AGH University and the third and fourth semesters at GGSIPU. Graduates with at least 60 per cent marks in any subject and who have done at least one course in mathematics, statistics, economics or operational research are eligible to apply for this programme. Admission will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Common Admission Test (CAT) followed by a personal interview.

The programme will commence in March 2025 and is designed with the aim to prepare industry-ready professionals and equip them with the knowledge and practical skills required to excel in sustainable manufacturing.

On successful completion of this programme, students will receive a dual degree which will be awarded separately by GGSIPU and AGH University.

Padma Shri Prof Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor of GGSIPU and Prof Jerzy Lis, Rector of AGH University of Krakow emphasized the importance of this collaboration which promotes global academic excellence and gives students an opportunity to showcase their skills on the world stage. The Vice Chancellor also highlighted the value of international exposure and expert knowledge in addressing contemporary challenges in manufacturing and sustainability in the context of this programme.
