New Delhi, 10 January (H.S.): On the occasion of World Hindi Day, Prof. Rajiv Kumar, Member Secretary, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) released 13 books written in Hindi. These books have been published under the Financial Assistance Scheme for the publication of manuscripts on technical and management subjects.
On this occasion, Prof. Kumar underlined the importance of making technical and management education more accessible to Hindi speaking readers. He appreciated the initiative to publish books in Hindi on these subjects and called it a milestone in inclusive education. He also praised the efforts of AICTE Chairman Prof. TG Sitaram to promote linguistic inclusiveness in higher education.
Prof. Kumar said that these books are not limited only to faculty members and students, but they are a resource for gaining knowledge for everyone. These 13 books cover diverse subjects including science and technology, environmental studies, painting, art and policies inspired by Indian values in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This initiative reflects AICTE's commitment to promote Indian languages and cultural identity in education.
At the event, the authors briefly introduced their book and expressed gratitude to AICTE and Haryana Granth Academy, Panchkula for their publication. He described this initiative as an important step towards empowering Hindi speaking people by providing them high quality educational resources in their native language.
